I wanted a garment rack for a tag sale and so I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I did want something fairly sturdy that I could use outside. Despite reading the earlier poor reviews on this, my frugality ultimately trumped my expectations of quality and I picked this up for $16 ($19.99 minus the 20% coupon) at BBB. I put it together this morning, and so far, so good! It is important to follow the directions to push the components together all the way into their slots. I noticed during assembly that if you didn't push them all the way, yes, it is pretty wobbly as other reviewers have commented. Each time I added a new piece to the assembly, I turned the unit upside-down or on-its-side to get more leverage to push the pieces together until they would go no further. Very firm but even pressure (so as not to break it) should do the trick. By the end (it took about 15 minutes) the final product is actually very sturdy. I left the caster wheels off (so that it is more stable outside on an unpaved surface during our tag sale) and it is currently holding several dresses and coats. For the price, I am very pleased, and very glad that I purchased this instead of a more expensive until. It will be perfect for my needs, and will go to good use as extra storage later.

OK for just a few items; can't move around
This is a very flimsy rack, hard to keep locked in place (we added duct tape around one of the poles and it still slid down). We didn't overload this rack, but it still leaned to one side and was constantly threatening to fall over. And even though it has wheels, I don't recommend moving it around (ours tilted over and the upper poles slid down). I returned it and bought the commercial grade rack ~ so much better!

For $20, it worked for me.
I recently needed something for short term to hold my winter coats, dresses, and sweaters. I came across this and even after reading some reviews I decided to take a chance and buy the product. (I mean what is the worst that happens, all I do is bring it back.)
For nearly 3 months of continuous use it held up. Did not tip over, and definitely did not collapse. Keep in mind however for the price you pay, you get something that isn't the best quality. So if you are looking for heavy duty use and plan on moving it around quite a bit, look for something else. Otherwise, this works well.
One note: When clothes are on it, it is difficult to move around on carpeted surfaces. I had no need to move it a lot and therefore that never bothered me.

Can't hold the weight !
I work as a costumer in the entertainment industry. We use heavy duty industrial racks on a regular basis. I was working in a show and another costumer had a few of these racks to use for extra storage in fitting rooms. I would not recommend them if you need to put heavy weight or lots of clothing, but if you need a stationary place to hang a small amount of clothing not to bad of a product. You can still find better racks if you willing to pay a little more.
