misleading ad
The picture of lampshade is misleading. The metal portion which should attach to the lamp APPEARS to desend inside of lamp to attach at the top of the lamp where the bulb attaches. The lampshade received was correct EXCEPT was not the right kind and not as shown in ad picture

Great Shade
I purchased this shade to go with a lamp base I bought for my master bedroom and I love it. The shade has a linen texture and the off white color is perfect. What I like most is the shape of the shade. It flares out a drop unlike the drum shades that I have been looking at. It really disperses the light nicely. The only thing that you will need to attach it to a base is a 7.5 inch harp (which the product description doesn't mention).
