Worse Purchase Ever!!
All I can say is please do not buy this food chopper. It's performance is extremely poor because the motor is weak and the blades are not sharp enough. I am returning this product and substituting it with a bigger and better machine.

sound and smell nightmare!
I bought this product to grind almonds, After 20 seconds the motor created an odor of burning parts. The sound was so shrill that my ears were ringing and I think the decibels it created might cause auditory damage . I am returning it after 1 use.

Not the best chopper/grinder
Agree with the other two reviewers about the smell of the machine burning. After about 30 seconds, it starts to smell...even if you do it in pulses. I don't smell it in the food after, but it is still gross while prepping. I previously owned the Cuisinart® 4-Cup Mini Food Processor, which I loved, but my mother broke mine. I decided to try this one out instead, and regret my decision. Go for the Mini Food Processor instead since it is $10 and does a much better job.

Beware Mateys...Aargh
My eyes really burn cutting onions so horray I got a Cuisinart chopper. My onions came out like a puree. What the .....? The ones on the bottom got pulverized and the ones at the top of the container were still in big chunks. Then I used it to grind my coffee. Before I could even get the beans smaller than half their size a really bad smell started coming out of the machine. What the ....? I tried again. The smell of a burning motor was so bad it made me feel sick. I guess to sum it up I have to say: DON'T BUY IT !!!!!!!!!!! seriously.
