Love it!!!
I bought this unit about 2 years ago and I love it. It stills works today. Every year I take it apart and clean it with just some warm water, a washcloth and a toothbrush to get in the smaller areas, put it back together and she works great. I have never had any problems with white stuff collecting on any nearby furniture and all as one reviewer has, however I would recommend you cover the table you plan to set it on with a towel or something of that nature as the high setting does make moisture collection on the table it sits on. Other than that I love it.

Works great, but beware!
Functions great, very little sound. There is one MAJOR problem however. EVERYTHING in the house gets covered in a dirty white film after this unit runs for a few hours. The water particles are mixing with other particles in the air and depositing on everything. The TV, computer, printer, range, dishwasher, fridge, glass cabinets... Basically anything plastic, metal, glass all are covered with this very dirty looking wet white film. Wipe it off and it's back in an hour.
They tout their "nebulizer" in this unit, however the water particle size is not good because they cause the white film problem.

Klunked out
Received it for Christmas last year and it worked great! Started using it this year i noticed it was always real wet around the base and table, turned it down a little worked great! Woke up yesterday and now it wont work.

Excellant, quiet, using for large room
We have had this unit for about a month. Wanted to be sure it would work in our large room. Got a humidity gauge to see how well it works. On highest setting the cool mist settles back as condensed moisture on the floor and top of the unit, so we put a plastic sheet under it. At about 3/4 setting does fine. It does not put out as much water vapor over 24 hours as our big console units do; but it is so quiet that it is worth the expense. The console units cost about $30 more than this unit and put out 3 times the moisture per unit. But they are so noisy that I am seriously thinking of getting two more of the cool vapor units to replace one of the console units just to be able to talk and listen to the TV.
At 3/4 setting it empties in about 24 hours.
