Best Comforter EVER!
I have had the queen size of this comforter for 7 years. We just switched to a king sized bed last year and I knew this was the only comforter for me. I first bought this comforter as a college student which was a BIG purchase on my budget at the time so I did extensive research on down comforters. With down, 500-600 fill power is for a year round comforter and the lighter the weight (in ounces), the higher the quality. To the people complaining about the lack of fluff or down in this comforter, it's not HOW much down is in your comforter that makes it quality. This is an excellent comforter for year round comfort. If you're looking for heavier or more down in your comforter you may be unable to use your comforter in the summer time or there may be less down in the product. In the winter on BITTER BITTER nights we SOMETIMES add a quilt but very rarely and in the summer we use this comforter with a sheet and it's PERFECT.
For someone looking for a quality comforter to last through the years look no further. Yes, I have had a few feathers (maybe 1 or 2 a year) slip out of my comforter - but can anybody honsetly say that they have a down or feather product that has NEVER lost any feathers? I can't.
To those complaining about the comforter being mishapen after washing/drying - read the care tag...it's dryclean only as are all down products.

not a good value
My last review on bbb was censored by the review moderator (no slang or offensive language was used), I dare bbb to publish this review or be accused for unfairly picking reviews.
I bought one of these at around $250 for a full size bed. There was barely any down in it. I took it back and got a refund (with some grief from the manager).
I went across the street to a large retailer and bought a Much Better one with Lots of Down in it (I think that's why they call it a DOWN Comforter?).
My final price was $118 including 8.5% CA sales tax, and difference of over 50% less for a much better comforter.
Don't waste you money on this on.

Fantastic Down Comforter
I have an unusually cold room in the back of my apartment and this comforter really does the trick. I immediately covered it in a duvet cover and try to continually fluff it so the loft is always high, but when I climb into bed I am immediately satisfied by how warm I am. I am in no way too warm, just so comfortable. The only problem is that I do not want to get out of bed. I have had this comforter for a couple of months and no feathers have come out. Sorry for anybody else's misfortune, but I love this comforter!

Warm, despite losing the Fluff
I bought this for myself 4 years ago. I still sleep with it every night, no matter the season. It is very warm, and I often wake up with it kicked off, but it never leaves my bed. As for all of the feather comments, I haven't experienced the same. I must say though, after a couple washes, with inconsistent drying (you try washing a queen comforter in dorm washer/dryers, it'd usually for for 2hrs plus in the dryer!) it has lost a LOT of fluff in the top couple of rows of baffle boxes. The top of my comforter is very flat (>1inch loft), while the bottom still remains very fluffy(6-8 inch loft). I think this could also be attributed to lying on top of the comforter often(which, I found out after, you are never supposed to do with a down comforter)! I'm in the market for a new comforter now, and will not buy this one again, simply because the price does not match the quality. Overall, not a bad purchase, but there are better products for the price.
