Truethful?
I bought this item because I live in a warm climate now and am used to sleeping with a down comforter due to many years living in northern Europe, where it is the norm to sleep with down. I bought this one due to its light fill and that the packaging stated that the comforter was "made in the USA". I want to support American workers. But, upon opening the item at home, I read the tag on the comforter itself and discovered that while it is distributed by a company in Seattle, the item is made in China. This is a perfect example of false advertising.

Light Warmth still Very Warm!
I have had my comforter for about four months now and it is just so wonderful! I was born and raised in Hawaii, but recently moved to Oregon. Winter is tough for me so I originally considered purchasing the year-round warmth down comforter, but the salesperson who owned a light warmth told me it was still very warm. She was right!

not keen on the baffle construction
I originally tried the Seasons year-round warmth. Overall, it had a better construction and held its loft better, but it was far too warm for me. I exchanged it for the Light Warmth, and have had it now for 4 or 5 months. When all the fill is distributed evenly, it provides great temperature regulation without feeling too weighty on your body. It also retains the down well; anytime I take it out of the duvet to shake it out, there's little to know down feathers floating around. This one COULD be the perfect weight, when combined with a duvet cover, for LA winter.
Problem is, the baffles have little channels for the fill to travel horizontally. Why? I don't know. After one or two nights, all the fill ends up in the sides of the comforter that are hanging over the edge of the bed. So every couple of days, you have to shake and bang it all back to being spread evenly across the middle, or be cold. Pretty annoying

Completely Flat After 6 Weeks
I have used this comforter for 6 weeks. Initially it was fluffy and exactly what I wanted. Now after 6 weeks it is completely flat which offers no warmth. I have tried shaking it and putting it in the dryer to fluff with tennis balls, no luck. I would take it to the be washed and fluffed but I can't afford to do that that every month nor is it good for the down.
