The 100% cotton Matelasse has a very distinctive texture and soft hand. The motifs are described above appear as the bedspread drop. The shams are unique as well as the pattern is engineered with a textural frame. Twin measures 80" W x 110" L. Full measures 96" W x 110" L. Queen measures 102" W x 120" L. William and Mary bedspread
I purchased this in a king size..
I was so excited as it was beautiful in the fabric and design..
It shrank in cold water and low heat at home in the dryer.
I do not understand why all of the cotton spreads are not preshrunk when they are made..Every cotton spread has shrunk or not been the correct width when I took it out of the pacakge.
.Does not mattter if it was made in India or Portugal..There are none the correct width stated as 120 inches wide...and they all shrink. I am desperate to find a bedspread that comes within l inch of my wooden floors..that is a full width and length king bedspread in a medium weight cotton..I had hoped this was the one...
I purchased a beautiful wiliamsburg cotton spread from Penny's and it shrank too..and it said pre washed..
Will the manufacturers out of the country please preshrink the material and make the correct size bedspreads that will reach to the floor? Thanks, Lily
