Buy it at the store...don't ship!
After 3 attempts at purchasing this carafe, I finally gave up!
I wish my local store carried these, then maybe I could have found a good one.
The first one had a faulty lid, which part of it fell into the carafe, so that one was returned.
When the 2nd one arrived, I didn't even attempt to open it because I could hear what sounded like a million pieces of glass rolling around inside, so I don't know if that happened in transit or it was that way before it was shipped, so back to Bed Bath & Beyond with this one.
The glass part inside the 3rd one was not attached to the outer part so the glass part was tilted slightly inside, which means it would not function properly. When I took it apart, I saw a small piece that was supposed to attached to the outer piece, which was broken. It wasn't very big and looked like it could be very fragile.
After 3 tries, I told the Bed Bath & Beyond employee that I was giving up!

Disappointed
We have ordered 2 of these. The first one the stopper on the top was broken. The second one the stopper would not fit right. Tea never stayed warm. Pretty blue color, that is why I gave it one star. Our store I returned it to was great about the return and everyone liked the color!

Great item - great price
I purchased 2 for a large dinner party so I could have the coffee ready at the end of the dinner. It worked wonderful. The coffee stayed hot & tasted fresh for hours.
I also used when we have overnight guest - late sleepers. Those up early had coffee. I brewed some for the carafe and ready when the later risers awoke. Highly recommend.
Very competitive price.

Great Item
I recieved one as a gift and it worked great, tea or coffee would stayed hot for hours. Great product, recommend it to everyone.
