Great pans
I have only had the pans for less than a month, but already I can see the difference in the quality of food coming off my stove. Clean up is super easy with these pans. It was almost just as easy and wiping them down with a cloth and hanging them back up on my pot rack.
I would suggest that anyone who is on the fence about these just take the plunge. You won't be disappointed.

A Poor Performer
First, let me say that Caphalon Cookware is normally outstanding. In this case the non stick coating wasn't designed well and I ended up complaining directly to Caphalon. I only had 2 pieces so they made it right and I went to the standard stainless, and have picked up a couple pieces of hard anodized. After over a year neither has shown much wear. The biggest challenge with any of the non-stick coatings is that you can NOT let them go quickly from hot to cold or the coating will be loosened from the underlying metal. This means a hot pan needs to be placed back on the stove and rinsed and put in the sink. For a gift the aluminum is a better choice and doesn't have the same problems as non-sticks.

Excellent Cookware
I have had this set for 5 years now and I absolutley love it! This cookware is the best cookware I have ever used. I can create a special pot of homemade gumbo in my 8qt stock pot or I can use my 10" omelette pan to cook eggs. Everytime, my food turns out perfect and I love it! I would recommend this cookware to those who are just starting out but also to the experienced cooks alike.

Make me want to cook
I bought this set as my first "Big Girl" pan set and I couldn't be happier. The variety in pan size fits all my cooking needs and even with an uneven apartment stove top the pans never fail me on an even cooking surface.
I did my research when choosing to buy Calphalon and remember one review stating that their pans had over time built up a white film on the outside. I have not seen this. Mine are so pretty that I display them for all to see. I am assuming that this person was not rinsing well enough or running them in the dishwasher.
