Best Comforter in the World!
For years, we have been using electric blankets, only to have them fail to operate after washing them. So, we decided to try our luck with the Extra Warmth Down Alternative Comforter, and honestly, it is the warmest and BEST blanket we have ever used! It doesn't slip and slide, and it is so warm and cozy. The best part....it is machine washable, and I can make the bed in about two minutes! We are extremely happy with it, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice warm comforter.

Stop Looking--This is the one!
We bought one for our King size bed to replace an old comforter, and one for our daughters' Queen size bed to replace multiple blankets and a top sheet. What makes this down alternative comforter so great?
1) Extra long and wide so it takes up the entire duvet cover! It doesn't slip around and bunch up on one side or at the bottom. It doesn't have ties on the corners (to tie to the inside of some duvet covers) because it doesn't need them.
2) Extra warm and cozy to save money on heat! We were able to lower the thermostat from 70 to 62. The only reason we didn't lower it more? It would be too cold to get out of bed in the morning. Will be great for us in the warm weather months too since we keep the A/C going and colder at night.
3) It is machine washable! If you use a duvet cover (and you really should--afterall, it replaces the need for a top sheet and makes it so easy to make the bed), you probably won't have to wash it much. In the event you do, you can take it to a laundromat and have it back the same day (probably too big for household machines). If you bought a dry clean only comforter, you wouldn't have it back for the same night.
4) Nicely filled and quilted! The fill doesn't move around and bunch up. It is very poufy inside the duvet cover so it looks very luxurious on the bed.
What more do you need to know? Not the cheapest and not the most expensive option, but definitely the best value. Worth every penny!! (FYI: They were out of stock online, but had them in the store near me, so call around first.)

absolutely fantastic!!
I purchased this comforter for my daughter because her bedroom is always cold. It has two outside walls and it's above the garage. I think that when they built this house they must have been in a rush and forgot to put in the insulation there! During the previous winters(upstate N.Y.) she used to use her old comforter and three other blankets just in an attempt to keep warm. I bought this last year and now she just uses this comforter alone and she is toasty all night!!
My Mom(a senior citizen) stayed with us for two nights after our October snowstorm because her power(and heat) went out. She stayed in her house with no heat during the storm because it was too dangerous to drive anywhere and she was frozen. I had to give her my daughter's blanket while here because nothing else would have kept her warm. She absolutely loved this blanket and even told my sister(out West) about how cozy she was. I would recommend this product to anybody who would like to keep warm during the winter.
