Square Sandwich Bread Pan
I ordered this pan online because your web site ERRONEOUSLY reported the item is NOT sold in the stores. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed an entire end aisle USA pans display in Bellingham, WA. The first time I used it, I could not get the lid off because the dough had expanded so much it baked into the entire channels of the lid. I had to wait until the pan was cooled to very slowly push that lid off. RECOMMEND: Never allow the last rising of the dough to reach beyond 3/4 inch below the edge of the pan. Do NOT spray the pan nor lid, use shortening instead. To prevent problems, also top the dough with a piece of pure parchment paper. I'll be buying one for a family member later for her birthday. Makes great bread but....read those instructions.

Might be o.k....with some reservations
Pan arrived today. Lid was very difficult to remove. Broke my index fingernail right down to the quick in trying to slide the lid off. Baked a loaf of bread & followed the usage instructions very careful, i.e. allowing the last rise of the dough to go not higher than 1/2" from top of pan before placing the lid & putting it in a 350 degree oven to bake. Cannot get the LID to slide off the pan any further than one inch...it's really STUCK! Will have to wait for the pan to almost completely cool first before trying again. :(

Good product
Same great quality as the other USA pans I have. My only problem with this one is the lid is very difficult to get off and on. I'm not sure if it just needs to be worn in more, or if it just doesn't fit correctly, and either way I still love the product and would buy it again.
