Extension Handle Won't Stay Locked
The handle has an extension tube that moves in /out and there is a release/lock button to allow you to adjust the length of the handle. After I extend the handle and lock it into place, it slips when I push the vacuum with any amount of force. I called the Eureka hot line listed on the quick start instructions, and they told me to bring it to a service center. I haven't read any other reviews about this problem, so perhaps mine is isolated, but the vacuum is unusable with the problem I have right out of the box.

If You Can Afford Better, Don't Buy
I purchased this for an apartment with low use. Unfortunately, this vacuum made cleaning tedious with multiple pass-overs to get crumbs. It is $70, so for the price I'm not complaining about that, but if you can invest in a +$200 plus vacuum, I'd suggest it. When I moved I didn't even bother keeping it and just went back to get something else. I regret not getting an expensive vacuum the first go-round, because here I am having now purchased 2 vacuums in 2 years.

Very satisfied
I am very happy with my little Eureka - perfect size for a small apartment and so easy to handle.

Not too bad
I didn't hate this vacuum. I had it for awhile and got good use out of it. The problem started when the handle, shaped like a circle kept breaking every time i went to move it to a different cleaning spot. It picks up great.
