Great Curtains
I bought these curtains and was a little worried from the other reviews about it not being room darkeninng. I think these curtains keep out a lot of sunlight, the room isn't completely dark, but it keeps out most of the light. I would recommend these curtains!! Great buy!!!

Nice but not room darkening
I picked these particular curtains for two reasons - the color matched my new bedding and valances and because they were labeled room darkening. While the color and style are wonderful, these are far from room darkening. Even with a light filtering blind, they still let in plenty of daylight which is not always appreciated at 5am in the summer. If you don't want a DARK room, these are great. But if dark is your desire, find something else.

Like them BUT......
I'm a shift worker which mean I sleep during the day and of course my room is on the south side of the house plus I live in the desert. So I really needed something to block the sun, heat and noise. I purchased these with this hope and I'm not sure I agree with everyone. They aren't bad curtains they do help to block most of the sun coming in but I also have faux wood blinds on all windows except my sliding glass door to my balcony and all the curtains do for me on the slider is filter the sun. The curtains are still a bit on the thin side in my opinion. The sliding glass door without any help from blinds shows a lot of white light through the material and I have the black curtains. In fact even the other windows in my bedroom that have the blinds under the black curtains still have a certain amount of white light that bleeds through the material. I'm conflicted all around because they are nice looking curtains and I like the fact that they are machine washable but...... To spend over 5 hundred $'s to cover all my windows and still not get what I would call a dark room? Maybe I was just expecting too much but for the the price I think these should be heavier material or something more to them to really block the sun.

Expensive, but beautiful
I recieved my order, and they are gorgeous curtains. However, YOU ARE BUYING ONE PANEL AT A TIME here. When I opened the package and pulled it out, there is only one panel in there. After looking online the description says one panel, even though the name says "panels"! A little on the pricey side. They do the job they were intended for and look fantastic, I just wish they weren't so much.
