Disappointed
I purchased this box at my local store. When I removed the shrink wrap at home, the lid fell apart! The divider cards are alphabetical and I really prefer by category such as appetizer, etc .The box holds 4x6 cards but the dividers are made for 3x5 cards. Over all poor quality. I am returning this box and will look elsewhere.

Don't listen to the negative reviews!
I was looking for a a nice, simple recipe box and found that this fit what I wanted! Concerning the review of the index card size, yes, the size of the index card dividers are 3x5 in. But it also gives you the dimensions on the outside of the packaging so you know what you are buying. I made my recipe cards on the computer and printed them onto 3x5 in. blank index cards for a nice unified look and they all fit and look perfect. As for the reviews of it getting wet and the bamboo warping, how about don't leave it near the sink?! Just be aware of where you place it while cooking. Any material, whether paper, wood, metal, etc. might be altered when wet. Don't hate on this AWESOME little recipe box. Worth the money and priced appropriately.

Alpha cards are too small
I should have listened to one of the other reviewers before purchasing. The cards that separate the recipes by alphabet, are too small. When you use 4x6 recipe cards, the recipe cards are taller than the alphabetical separators, and you can't see the separators (sort of defeats the purpose). If you use 3x5 cards you will probably be fine, but the box states that it's for 4x6. Otherwise, the box is well made and looks nice.

Not worth your money
I ordered three of these Bamboo recipe boxes as Christmas presents for my adult children who have all recently moved out. Upon opening the recipe boxes they looked perfect. But as I kept opening them and adding favorite family recipes two of the boxes fell apart... literally. I then had to glue them back together with wood glue! I was very disappointed as the value of the boxes was more like 3.99. Then I could say I would recommend them....you get what you pay for. In this case I paid for quality and got junk.
