they are 16 ounces!
We received these glasses yesterday and will be returning them. They are too big at 16 oz and do not fit in the dishwasher, plus we don't drink 16 oz.

Pretty but Fragile
These wine glasses are beautiful. I want to use them when we have friends over. The problem is they are extremely thin fragile. You have to hand-wash them very carefully because the glass is so thin it can easily break. We had people over last weekend, and I reached for my glass on the coffee table and it knocked onto the table, and it completely shattered. I think these are very pretty glasses, but I wish they wouldn't break so easily.

casual designs lend the glasses to more frequent use
I originally bought the champagne glasses from the Cheers collection for my daughter-in-law. She loved the different designs and found that she could use the glasses for both formal and less formal occaisions. At her request, I have added red wine, martini and now white wine glasses. I have read reviews that state the glasses are fragile, but have not found any problems when treated with the same care one would use for fine crystal.

I just love using this product with friends
I just love this set of wine glasses. It was given to meet as a gift and now I am buying it as a gift for a family memeber and will do so in the future. I will soon add the red wine glasses to my set. They have really held up well, clean up nicely and have not chipped. A great buy in my opinion!
