Beautiful over all, bowls too large...
We love everything about our new 12 place setting of Italian Countryside dinnerware EXCEPT the cereal bowls are HUGE at 24 oz. each. No wonder we have a warped sense of serving size... Something along the lines of the fruit bowl at 10 oz. or perhaps slightly bigger would be better. To be honest, I don't know what I'll do with these bowls. I may have to purchase other bowls to use as cereal bowls.
One of the salad plates was shattered when received and with one simple call to Mikassa it was replaced.

Exceptional Quality
This is beautiful dinnerware and compares to a similar pattern from Wedgewood at a much better price. Very pleased with my purchase....gorgeous. Prduct was packaged very securely. It is beautiful everyday dinnerware.

Love it - but doesn't last
I picked out when i got married 15 years ago and thought they'd last forever and sustaint microwave and dishwasher use. Over the years, they have discolored and have blackish scuffs. They've also chipped considerably. Not something you can use for over 10 years, and given it was over $50 a placesetting back then, i thought they'd last for a very, very long time.

Casual elegance
We received this set as a wedding present and I love it. The set is casual, but elegant. I love the way the plates look in the cupboard, and on the table. I dress the table up or down with linens. The stoneware itself is lightweight, but hasn't chipped. I like that it's dishwasher and microwave safe. I look forward to many years with Italian Countryside.
