Great idea, but does not work
I agree with previous reviews, however after a year of usage the covers have expanded and no longer seal tight. They are so loose that one can not put a covered bowl in the fridge without spilling the soup leaking from under the cover. I suspect it is a result of dishwasher/microwave cycles.

Best bowls ever
Title says it all really. They're glass, they have lids, and they're so darn useful.
Get them. You'll be glad you did.

LOVE!
I love these bowls! They work so well in prepping and storing food. I also love the fact that you can use them in the microwave and dishwasher. I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend them!

Very Convenient
My mother's ceramic mixing bowl now decorates my table, have had the glaze worn off by a hand mixer. Though there are some that have easy pouring handles, as I have two plastic ones, these Pyrex ones have a size for each occasion. Not necessarily true of the lids, the bowls can go either into the oven, the freezer, the refrigerator or the stove for double boilers. They are the most convenient products of their kind.
