Quality going down the drain
We bought this blender about 5 years ago and the pitcher started leaking in the inside bottom part of the pitcher. The motor started to sound bad. We took it in since its under warranty and figured 5 years of constant use was great. So we got the replacement. From the get-go, we noticed the pitcher would not stay lock in place it swiveled. The motor sounded like the old one. One month later, the pitcher is leaking in the same place as the old jar! Horrible quality, KitchenAid used to mean something. I guess profits are better than brand quality. This thing probably costs $10 to make.

Disappointed
We registered for what we thought was a great blender. We used it for about three weeks making smoothies for breakfast and the blade became loose. We tried to fix it, but it was no use. We were so disappointed that after such a short period of time it no longer worked. For $100, we thought it would last for at least a couple years!

Disappointed
I LOVED this blender, the large size was great. Cleaning was a snap since there is nothing to take apart and it's dishwasher safe. It did a great job with smoothies and frozen cocktails! BUT, in less than a year, the blade assembly began coming loose each time I'd use it. I'm very disappointed b/c we loved the blender.
I'm half tempted to buy another one though (and save the receipt/warranty this time).

Worst buy ever
Kitchen Aid should be a quality product but this one was leaking after 6 months and after 1 year the blade broke in a half. Horrible product.
