Weak fabric
I bought this cover because of it's lack of thinck padding and antimicrobial treatment. It does appear to fit the mattress snugly enough to prevent bunching or sliding of the material.
I expect zippered mattress covers to be challenging to install. As such, I also expect construction to be such that it can withstand the actual installation process. In the first seconds of attempted installation, this cover began to tear where it is sewn to the zipper on one end. Assuming this was my fault, I continued with more care. I was able to get just past the halfway point when the tearing became worse, despite more gentle handling. The fabric is flimsy at best. I wanted something relatively thin, but my regular sheets offer more protection than this cover.
