Not Best Purchase Ever
This dish exploded on me in the oven this evening. Opened the oven door to take it out and upon contact with the pot holder shards were everywhere! I would recommend running quickly away from this dish and never purchasing it.

This dish exploded on me!!
I just had the scariest kitchen mishap happened with this pyrex bakeware. I took it out of the oven and immediately settling it on the counter, it exploded everywhere! That's right, exploded! as soon as it touched the counter. I am not sure if it is the temperature difference or it is because there is a tiny bit of water on the counter, but whatever it was, the dish exploded! I was so terrified by what could have happened - a piece of glass could hit my eye and I could have been blinded or I could have been facially scarred! I will never buy another piece of glass bakeware again because of this. I looked up the safety of pyrex products and it does say not to put it directly on the counter, but no where does it say that it would explode if you do. Please be careful when you use this bakeware or just don't buy it again. My dog was standing right next to me when this happened and he could have been hurt.

Pyrex is a great brand and this baking dish is awesome. I use it constantly. Highly recommend!
