Great quality, not air-tight. I bought this a year ago as a long-term aging for home brewed beer and mead. It has worked perfectly, is easy to clean, and is the least expensive retail option that I have found before or since. I needed a wide-mouth opening, so a carboy was not an option. My one complaint is that the silicone seal has a designed hole to assist in lifting the lid. I would prefer something truly air-tight, but so far it's not been a problem. As long as I don't drop it, I expect to be using this for years, and I may get a second one. April 11, 2013
