frosting on the cake
I just used my new hand mixer, its powerful. The cord is thick and the mixer isnt flemsy. The pink matches perfectly with the cuisinart coffee maker and the cusinart blender. Cant go wrong with this item.

Fabulous!
This is the best hand mixer I've ever used. The power is amazing and the balloon attachment does egg whites almost faster than my stand mixer. In fact, I almost prefer this over my stand mixer and that's going some.

Works like a Champ
For starters, I feel this mixer was unfairly reviewed. Most mixers have left/right beaters, and it is clearly marked on the mixer which beater goes where. Also, the cord does not seem inflexable so much as it is new and as with every product with a heavy duty cord, it needs to be broken it. I have a sideline baking business and I prefer to use a hand mixer for my batters and frostings. This mixer was easy to use, worked wonderfully, produced great results, did not splatter a bit, and even self-cleaned it's beaters when reduced to speed 1. If you are serious about baking, and prefer using a hand mixer, this is the mixer for you. It even has a whipper attachement which I normally have to haul out my 40 lb. stand mixer to take advantage of. It's a bit pricey for a casual user, but really, you can't go wrong with this mixer. It is just wonderful.

Splatters everywhere!
This is a very powerful mixer, but the shape of the beaters makes it splatter everywhere - I have to mix in the sink, or clean the entire kitchen! The beaters are also different shapes and each fits in a specific side, which makes it harder to set up. The cord bends around itself and is very stiff, getting in the way of the beaters.
