Great grinding and very quiet
This grinder is great. It's easy to clean and maintain. I am compairing this grinder to my old grinder that I had for quite a few years. It was a Capresso Burr Grinder Sensor and finally wore out. When I used it would sound like an M-60 tank reving up. Very loud indeed. I like this new model very much and use it every day.

Static Problem
We received the Capresso grinder from our wedding registry. It did a nice job grinding the coffee, as advertised. But as soon as we removed the plastic grinding chamber from the unit to take out the coffee, static electricity sent the grinds flying everywhere: all over the counter, all over our hands, and all over the unit. I tried a dozen troubleshooting fixes - everything I could think of and more that I found researching online - to no avail. We ended up returning the grinder and getting a Cuisinart. The Cuisinart doesn't grind as consistently, but at least we don't have a huge mess after every grind. It is a shame, but the Capresso was just too messy every single time. Kudos to BB&B for their great return policy.

First burr grinder good experience so far
I have had a blade grinder prior to this...didnt like the uneven grinding. This burr grinder is nice for even grinding, seems grind size from middle to course is not very different but does make a great fine grind for espresso. I mostly use course for my eco cup for my kcup brewer. This is much quieter than a blade grinder. To keep from making a mess dont fill the hopper to max which fills the grind cup to the top and with the light static build up it will make a mess. So break down your grinds to 2 half sizes and it will not make a mess. Very easy to use and clean. Very happy with it
