Nasty....mold producer
I was looking for a mat that had good suction, mold resistent and comfortable. This bath mat has great suction, however, it is far from comfortable on the feet, which in all honesty I don't think it claims to be comfortable. It does state it is mildew resitant and that is a total lie. I have hung this mat up and after a week it is black underneath to the point that I want to throw out my tub and buy a new one. I soak it in bleach and it does remove the mold but the mat is now stained. It is foul!!! I am so grossed out. I would not recommend this mat.

Euro Tile is the absolute best bath mat out there
I've tried many mats, including grass mat & various mold-resistant PVC mats. Some by rubbermaid, others by mainstays, many smelling to high heavens of chemicals. Some acclaimed PVC mats had good suction, while others refused to stay put.
I was not comfortable with the highly acclaimed PVC mat, because the huge suction cups felt like bumps beneath me. It was also very difficult to remove from tub in order to hang up after each use. By comparison this combines the best of all worlds, by offering excellent suction that's easy to fasten and easy to remove (unlike the larger cups), AND it does stay put for safety AND it cushions the sitting area wonderfully which is more than I can say about the vast majority of mats NOR is it slippery to stand on like alot of mats, but rather offers rubbery traction.
As for complaints of mildew, do you mean that it gets pinkish beneath? If so, just sprinkle scouring powder onto the underpart and then gently apply a brush to all the crevices. This top quality mat is worth that bit of effort. It's your choice - believe this - or believe the naysayers.
As for complaints of safety, I don't know what they're talking about. Perhaps it's because those people regularly use gel cleansers which gets their mats all full of slippery goop? I strongly advise against this. Rather, you should gently apply scouring powder. EMPHASIS on powder versus goopy cleansers.

Mildew builder
No problems with it sticking to the tub or being slippery. We hang it up when our showers are done and the bottom side loaded with mildew. We have tried washing it, scrubbing it and bleaching it but the mildew will not come off

Tub Mat
Bought this because it was the only white mat at the store. It has nice cushion effect, but is slippery when wet.
