Beautiful platter but not dishwasher safe
This platter comes exactly as shown, and has a very nice shine. It can be placed in the freezer or the oven, but be careful not to put this platter in the dishwasher. I did to mine, and it made the platter a dull gray which could not be buffed or polished away. Fortunately I was able to exchange it because the package lacked any washing instructions. As long as you hand wash it, it's a great buy.
