PediPaws Pet Nail Trimmer
PediPaws is a revolutionary nail trimmer for your dog or cat that quickly trims, rounds and smoothes nails with no mess and none of the pain of traditional nail clippers. A precision emery filing wheel gently removes thin layers of nail, while a unique protective cap allows only the perfect amount of nail to be removed and catches all the filings so there's no mess. Requires 2 C batteries, not included.

Works really well
Extremely easy to use. Batteries not included (2 Cs). Do as the instructions say: gradually present the trimmer to your dog and he won't be afraid when you use it. I have 3 poodles and none of them are scared of it.
I also bought the spare kit of trimmers.

This our second one, wore the first one out. We have an English Bulldog and we use this weekly on her. She loves your "spa" day.

Great Alternative to Clippers - FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!
I have heard that a lot of dogs will not go near the device because of the noise, making it next to impossible to use. My best advice: FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS THAT COME WITH PEDI-PAWS! It specifically instructs you to introduce the machine to your pet GRADUALLY using treats and positive associations before EVER trying to use the device. If you simply open the box and try to use it on your pet right away, don't be surprised if he/she runs for the hills! Also, it is unlikely that you'll be able to undo that reaction if you try the right process after he/she has had a negative experience with the device.
I spent about 5 minutes a day for several days turning the device on and laying it near my lab on the floor while petting him, giving him treats, or even placing the treats next to/around the device so that he could go near it on his own and learn that it wouldn't hurt him. It sounds like a pain but it's definitely worth the trouble considering that we don't have to struggle with him to trim his nails or pay to get them done somewhere. Once I was ready to try filing his nails, I had a pile of treats next to me and gave him one after I finished each nail to keep him from running off and to reinforce that this was a "good thing". He put up a little bit of a struggle at first, but was fine after we did the first nail. We used to have to struggle with him when we used clippers and then we'd have to file the jagged edges with a nail file afterward. This is a MUCH BETTER alternative! He has been better and better each time we've used it!! : )
P.S. PediPaws takes two C Batteries...we didn't have any in the house and had to go buy them! ...just thought I'd mention that too!
