I would not recommend these knives. They are heavy and not very sharp. They also do not fit in my wooden knife block! I have one knife just lying on the counter next to the block.

Excellent
Totally love them. Heavy, solid and balanced which equals quality to me. Perfect for all your cutting, slicing and dicing needs. I purchased a pampered chef knife years ago (at a discount and wouldn't waste my money again) which was my first experience with any kind of quality knife and there is no comparison. Paula Deen's are the bomb!

The price of 2 Santoku Knives were so inexpensive and when I got them I was amazed at their beauty and quality. Awesome...just awesome!
