Extreme Warpage These frying pans would make Captain Kirk proud . WARP factor ten. In two months of normal usage. Two adults and a 16 year old that doesn't cook.These poor excuses for cookware can not sit on a level surface. Bought the same pan twice, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Love my new set of Cookware This set is terrific. I love to cook, and these pans go from the burner to the oven, no problem, just use hot pads to pick up from the oven. Clean up is a breeze. As much as I love to cook, I hate to spend a lot of time cleaning. So far, every single thing I have fixed has slid right out and the pot rinses out and I dry it and put it away. Nice to know I can put it in the dishwasher if I should have a need. Highly recommend this product, and if anything goes wrong, (it won't) Calphalon will replace your piece. Looks good as well as being functional, Highly recommend! February 20, 2013

Very disappointed I am very disappointed with these pans. It says dishwasher safe and even though I rarely did that because of detergent build up, I still had the coating wear off. I spent A LOT of money on these! So NOT what I expected and even though Michael Simon recommends these, its all about the money! Shame! Wasted money on the whole set! May 27, 2012

Almost perfect... BEWARE OF THE DISHWASHER DETERGENT YOU USE!!!! DO NOT think that you can throw these in with any old store-branded detergent and they will come looking perfect for 20 years. If you care to read the papers that came with these they are indeed dishwasher safe but do not use detergent that contains CHLORINE or it will damage the outer surface of your pots!!! Almost all detergents have chlorine and I ruined an entire 13 pc set of these by using the wrong detergent. The lovely people at Calphalon were happy to replace the set however, for which I am truly grateful and humbled because I did not read the notice myself when I first got them! I use Seventh Generation detergent which has no chlorine as do most of the "Eco-Friendly" ones, Meyer's, etc. I got these right after they were introduced... I am a sucker for new things from companies that make good things. First impression was they were very attractive and updated looking, gorgeous rounded satin handles, and nice glass lids. The SEAR and SLIDE are definitely two different animals. the SEAR will cling to food way better for browning and stuff tends to "stick" but it is not really stuck, that's just the SEAR finish working, it cleans right off with a faucet sprayer. Nothing that I have found so far will stick to the SLIDE finish, caramel, eggs, cheese... I mean nothing! The only reason I cannot give five stars is that the finish on the outside is too difficult to take care of for cookware of this price point. You must clean any spills or drips over the side right away or they leave markings that do not come off in the dishwasher and only with light abrasive cleaning. Also the coating inside, while durable, does "appear" to scratch easily, and OF COURSE I only have wood or silicone utensils for use inside my cookware. The person at Calphalon assured me that the slight scuffing of the coating will not prevent the surface from doing its task in any way, and I completely agree, nothing sticks even tho there are slight scratchings from wooden utensil use.
