You get what you pay for. . .
I have two issues with this product. Before the actual product details, I would like to note that I was prepared to purchase a more expensive decanter but was dissuaded by the sales girl who recommended I purchase this decanter because it was "just as good" as the more expensive one I had my sights on.
First issue is that the decanter does not completely empty when turned upside down over a wine glass. There is a small almost undetectable low area that encompasses the entire area around the spout that prevents the last of the wine to pour. When pouring expensive wine, having the final couple of ounces stuck in the low area is ridiculous.
Second issue is the decanter will not dry completely on the "rack". This creates a damp mildewy environment inside the decanter.
Bottom line. . . Not worth wasting the money. Purchase a quality decanter and enjoy your wine without the noted frustrations.
