UNHAPPY
I've owned this vacuum for three weeks now, and regret buying it! I keep a clean house, but already the filter light on and the suction next to nothing.
I have been to two different Bed Bath and Beyond locations trying to purchase the replacement filter, and they don't keep them in stock! I find it ridiculous to sell vacuums and not keep the filters in stock! I also checked Best Buy and 2 Walmart locations. Finally, I decided to order the filter pack on line and have waited for over a week for them to arrive. GREAT...when you really need to vacuum and once again have to resort to a broom and dustpan! VERY annoying!!!

UGH!
I have a short hair dog and 2 short hair cats.
My mother bought this for me as a house warming gift in August. I have flat wood & stone floors as well as SHORT carpeted steps leading upstairs to a small carpeted landing. For the month of August it worked well. After that it went downhill. FAST.
It is cheaply made. The attachments don't stay connected and keep falling apart. The suckage is HORRIBLE. It takes me forever to vaccum now for the reason of spendingso much time going over and over and over the floors .....I can't stand it.
I guess I got what SHE paid for.

Not What I Expected
I purchased this vaccum because I previously had a Bissell Butler Revolution vacuum cleaner and absolutely loved it. It had great suction, was light enought to pick up and easy to store. It was the best vacuum I ever had. Unfortunately I burned out the motor by letting it run for a few minutes while I was doing something, and because it had so much suction power and was stuck vacuuming the carpet, it started smoking and thus burned out the motor. So I started my search for a new vacuum.
Bissell no longer makes the Butler. Too bad as it was a great vacuum. I gave my hose and all my attachments to my daughter for spare parts as she has a Butler too and loves it.
I decided on the Bissell Cyclonic Vacuum. I've had it now for about 9 months. The suction isn't very good. (I don't have to worry about the suction burning out the motor on this one!) I constantly have to dump out the container of dirt and the stuff NEVER dumps out on its own. I have to dig it out with my fingers! Yuck. I HATE bagless vacuums. The Butler had a plastic cone attached to the hose where it would catch all the dust, etc., plus a bag in the canister. Whenever the plastic cone was full, I just dumped it out and it came out just fine. The bag needed to be changed maybe once a month or less - it just caught the extra dirt once the cone was full and I hadn't dumped it yet. This Bissell is much heavier than the Butler too. The attachments don't fit on the hose, so if you want to vacuum out your car, you need to drag out the wands to fit the attachments to it. I've NEVER had a vacuum where the attachments didn't fit on the hose!!
All in all, I wish I hadn't purchased this vacuum.
Don't buy it. I'm still searching for a really good resasonably-priced canister vacuum that uses bags. I thought of buying the Miele, but the bags are ridiculously priced. $18 for 4! That's too much money for some paper bags. Other vacuum cleaner bags are priced at about $8 for 4 or 5.
As a footnote, I found out from a vacuum cleaner repair place that they could have replaced the motor on my Butler for about $50!!! Darn! I had already thrown it out. Ouch.

Don't buy!
This vacuum cleaner does not work on carpets very good. Purchased for my Mom because it was light weight to use, but after 2 months it just does not pick up on carpet. Sent company email but never received a response. Used Bissell products in the past, but now I am going to have to but something else and won't purchase Bissell products again.
