What the... ?!?
I was so excited to finally organize my shoes! It is just not happening with this item. It came with metal hooks to hang it up with over the door. However, there is no way to attach the metal hooks to the shoe organizer! It looks like there are tabs to slip the hooks through, but the tabs are completely sown up! Weird... I will be exchanging this item.

Poor design - Be glad they are out of stock!
Had I not brought this 1200 miles to my daughter's dorm I would have brought it back. The bent metal brackets that go over the door are supposed to fit into a sewn pocket on the back of the organizer. The pockets are sewn too small and no amount of effort could get them into the pocket with ripping the weak sewing job that held them in place. If they had fit they would not have lasted under the weight of all the shoes it could hold.
This should be a "Real Simple" product to get right. Not this time, far off the mark.

How does this thing hang?
I realize I'm a complete moron, but I have no idea how this thing hangs. I see how the hooks fit over the door, but there's nothing on the back of the organizer to hook onto. Am I missing something?

Best dual-purpose item
Someone posted on Real Simple magazine to use this for a stuffed-animal organizer for your kids. I did that and it was the best idea ever. My girls have little "homes" for each of their friends on the back ofo their door and we even posted pictures of who goes where behind each strap. It holds 24 medium-sized stuffed animals securely and it's very cute!
