Cutting large fruits doesn't have to be a chore anymore. Fruit slicer minimizes the amount of effort you need for slicing large fruits and leaves you with perfectly sliced fruit for parties and snacking. Simply cut one end of the melon, face this cut side up, center the slicer and push down using the comfortable gripped handles. The end result is a proportionately sliced fruit floret that is both pretty and edible. The blades are sharp, serrated, and constructed of stainless steel for optimum performance. Dishwasher safe, top rack only. Measures 11" across both handles. Cutting area measures 8 1/2" in diameter.

Too small to cut melons
My husband got this to cut melons with but found it's hard to use and too small for most melons.
Probably good for small melons? Ended up something we bought with high hopes but is now set away somewhere unused.

Convenient
I have a slmilar slicer to this one. I have to put it in the sink to get the proper leverage to cut thru the whole melon. I was unable to do it on the counter or table.I also have to rock it back and forth to get it thru the melon. It does make it convenient to have the slices all the same size and all in one fell swoop.
