Cutting large fruits doesn't have to be a chore anymore. Fruit slicer minimizes the amount of effort you need for slicing large fruits and leaves you with perfectly sliced fruit for parties and snacking. Simply cut one end of the melon, face this cut side up, center the slicer and push down using the comfortable gripped handles. The end result is a proportionately sliced fruit floret that is both pretty and edible. The blades are sharp, serrated, and constructed of stainless steel for optimum performance. Dishwasher safe, top rack only. Measures 11" across both handles. Cutting area measures 8 1/2" in diameter.

WASTE OF MONEY
I tried to cut a watermelon and a cantaloupe using this thing. 220lbs and even set in on the floor. I didn't even make a dent. I gave up when it felt like the plastic handles were going to break resulting in me going to the ER from all those blades.

fruit slicer
If you are cutting honeydew or cantalope melons, but if you are cutting a watermelon, it will take more than cutting the bottom off. I had to cut all sides for it to slide down to cut.
