Great Item
They look great. There were no black ink marks. It look just like the picture. It is a hard plastic.

marked with ink and not at all what I expected
I had ordered (looked the same on the website) 18 of what I thought were the identical placemats a few years ago and loved them! My friends all wanted some... very popular. Good-looking, easy care, and really looked like palm leaves -- elegant, actually. Made of nice, soft vinyl, good "nature" color. What I actually received were hard, kind of plastic feeling, brighter green, different style "tail" on the leaf design that was stubby and ugly, plus 13 of them had big black ink marks all over the front. These were a total disappointment and I returned them. Very sad the others don't seem to be available. :(

Add a tropical flair to the table
These placemats are just as described. I purchased them as an accent piece on the bar, for a tropical party. They looked great. Very cute and functional as well.

I loved the design. The only thing wrong was that the price was written in pen on the back, and the ink rubbed off on the fronts of stacked placemats. It was a gift for my mother and I NEVER was able clean the ink off.
