Most of the flavors are lousy, but ......
I am an avid home gourmet cook. Most of the better flavors need tweaking. To the coke, add 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. of lemon juice, or cream of tarter, or some citric acid to give that little "bite" that is missing. I have found RIO concentrates to be very good, and much cheaper. One 4 oz. bottle of concentrate makes a gallon of syrup in about 150 flavors. I have used these to make my own cherry coke down to a science. USE FILTERED WATER !!!!!
I use organic sugar as well. Change the valve on the carbonator ( research on the web), $ 40 investment equals $2.50 refills for 130 ltr. I have had my Soda stream for 5 months, and am having a ball experimenting with the alternative flavors. I am now perfecting Mountain Dew. My cost per liter is below 25 cents for ingredients and CO2.

Love this stuff!
This is every bit as good as coke. And I know of what I speak because I love, love, love Coke--the real thing. Plus it has less calories.

SodaStream Cola
I bought the sodastream for my husband because he drinks a lot of soda and thought he would get a kick making it himself..he loves it and the cola is one of his favorite flavors. (I also like it) It is a close match to any cola's out on the market and I recommend it to any cola lovers.
