Great pillow at a great price
I finally started looking into quality down pillows after jealously wondering how my parents' pillows were still so luxurious and resilient after 50 years. Comfort is personal so I won't go there. I sleep in many positions but I was going after the thick but squishy yet supportive feel that I knew of theirs. I learned that once you get past the "down feather" cheap - and pointy - substitute and the unimportant cotton thread count of the cover (hopefully you use a pillowcase) for most natural pillows, the true down pillows are categorized by "fill power" as well as "ounces". Fill power is the quality/size of feather and ounces is how much material is actually put in. In looking at several manufacturers for the king side-sleeper, I found many 800 fill power pillows but they were filled to 21 or 23 ounces! This pillow has the highest of both over the best of Macy's, The Company Store, Scandia Down, CuddleDown, Amazon and several other smaller shops I looked at, regardless of price. Plus, I used the 20% off coupon to buy each of my pillows which almost covered the cost of my 4th pillow. Hopefully, I won't need the lifetime warranty and my kids will be wishing for these pillows when they're my age..
