set was a gift, and daughter loved them. Customer service was great giving me free shipping and 20% discount at store with invoice, so made purchase even better!

Poor Quality
I have had this set for a few weeks now. When I first washed them in the dishwasher I noticed that the glaze had spider webbed, now I was making tea and poured the hot water in the cup and it exploded. I am really disappointed with this product, since it was made be Mikasa I assumed that the quality would be as good as my fine china I have from them (15 years old). I am taking the whole set back. Don't buy this.

not very good quality
I was moving and bought these dishes for use at my new home. I've only used them for 2 months and the clear coating has cracked on the plates. I also have an older dishwasher and microwave and the plates don't fit very well in the dishwasher- too tall- and don't fit well enough to rotate in the microwave. I do not use the heated dry cycle on the dishwasher either.

I love my purchase but........
....one of the mugs is chipped on the handle!!!! Im debating on whether to overlook the defect, OR pack EVERYTHING back in the box and take the whole set back to the store to exchange. Either way is a pain. *sigh*
