The Sharper Image® Automatic Wine Vacuum Seal

Hi. My name is Brent from Bed Bath and Beyond, and I'm here to tell you about the Sharper Image Automatic Wine Vacuum Seal. This compact wine vacuum keeps unfinished bottles of wine fresh, while preserving the original taste, aroma and color. The seal automatically pumps out air, regulating the optimal pressure for days. It has an easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the sealing status, wine temperature, and day counter. Hold the bottle, and press the wine vacuum seal down until the unit has gone as far as possible into the open bottle. The automatic wine seal will then activate, removing air out of the wine bottle. This is indicated by the O symbol that moves across the LCD display.

As you can see, the blue backlight will remain illuminated while the unit is removing excess air within the wine bottle. The automatic wine vacuum seal will stop once the unit has extracted the excess air, and the backlight will shut off after five seconds. The unit will automatically re-pressurize every four hours for up to 70 seconds, if the wine vacuum seal senses that air has leaked out of the bottle.
