Don't even think about it
I must agree with the negative reviews. I didn't use mine often but when I did, it was for softer foods like tomatoes, bananas, yogurt. etc. It didn't last more than 20 uses. It just stopped spinning. When I wrote to Cuisinart, they said for me to send it to them and they can repair it for a minimum fee of $50 + shipping. I might as well buy a new one - but not a Cuisinart.

Very, very poor quality! Blender Collar broke apart while in use and motor died within 1st 4 months of ownership.

Why is BBandB Still Selling this Piece of Junk?
The blender is underpowered and the food processor is undersized. The motor sounds like a jet engine and smells like an electrical fire waiting to happen.
This thing needs to come off the shelf, for good.

I love my blender and food processor. Super easy to use and in perfect working condition, I read some of the other reviews posted, and am surprised by some of the comments. This blender/food processor rocks!!
