With a 3-stage juicing process, it has the ability to juice everything from fruits and vegetables to wheatgrass. This heavy-duty, single gear masticating juicer features the new GE-Ultem auger, a stone mill-like screw that's 8 times stronger than other single auger juicers. It turns at a low 80 RPM's to ensure that the maximum amount of enzymes, vitamins and minerals are extracted during juicing. This low speed also helps prevent less foam, making clean up a whole lot easier. It features no heat build up and continuous juicing with automatic pulp ejection. A Great Juicer
This is by far my favorite juicer. I've had a Jack Lalane, a Green Star, and last year I bought the Omega Vert. The Omega 8004 is even Easier to clean and gets a drier pulp in my opinion. I've given all the others away. I LOVE the the Omega 8004! I've been daily juicing vegetables, greens, and apples (I prefer blending most fruits). Some foods must be cut smaller than for the Vert, but this one is sooo much better for celery and other stringy greens. I'm recommending it to all I know interested in juicing.

I can not say enough GOOD about this product! I love, love, love it! Makes awesome juices, both veggie & fruit. Clean-up is fast & easy.

Great Juicer
I compared lots of juicers online before I purchased the Omega 8004, and decided on the masticating type based on the health benefits of slow, cold extraction. The Omega 8004 has a 15 year warrantee, and the price was right especially with BB&Bs 20% off coupon!
I love this juicer. It's quiet, very easy to assemble and disassemble, and takes very little time to clean. You do have to cut things up a bit to fit the shoot, but it's powerful, produces excellent cold-pressed juice leaving a dry pulp which means it extracts the maximum amount of juice. I love making frozen fruit sorbets with the blank screen! Have not tried the pasta extruder yet. Supposedly you can grind coffee beans and make flour from whole grains a well!
One little blip that had to get resolved by calling the CS department - don't change directions on the auger by toggling the switch from forward to reverse without letting it come to a stop in between, or it keeps going in reverse. Just turn to off position, wait for it to stop, then switch to forward position to resume juicing.

Masticating juicers are the best
This is my fourth juicer and it is simply the best. I've had a centrifugal juicer, a vertical masticating juicer, the Omega 8003, now I've upgraded to the Omega 8004 and I couldn't be happier. I want no pulp, no foam, the most nutrition to remain in the juice with no oxidation and this juicer delivers. If you're looking to buy, go no further.
