I have three small dogs, two are males-nuff said.
I was hoping this was as good as advertised, and it is.
Pros: Easy to set up and run
Lightweight and portable
comes with attachment
cleans old stains on the surface setting-took out most of a paint drip that was about a year old
Quick cycle
totally fluffs up carpet, it has two kinds of bristles and some plastic "teeth" that rake up the carpet, which helps with the cleaning piece
Cons: little loud, like running a vaccumn cleaner-not bad though
if you use it on a stain larger than the cleaning mechanism itself, you will need to go over the other areas again so you don't have a "clean circle".
Does not get the carpet as dry as I would like it to
Very good product, just keep in mind this is not for cleaning an entire carpet. I would purchase again

DO NOT BUY!
As a long time owner of one of the original Spotbots, I bought this model when my old one conked out. Major disappointment...I bought and returned 2 of these because they leak out ALL of the solution when turned off and the suction is non-existent. They have absolutely destroyed what used to be a GREAT product. The internet is full of negative reviews on ALL of the Spotbot
models now available, and Bissell seems to ignore the complaints from their customers.. Maybe to you first time users you think this is a lifesaver, but compared to how it is supposed to work, it's a total disaster in my opinion.

LOVE THIS!!!
Have a pet or kids, this little cleaner is a MUST! It does a great job of not only cleaning those "accidents", but areas where our dog eats his bones, and kids drip - whatever. I normally just use hot water with Oxyclean. Best purchase I've made in a long time. For anyone who has carpeting, you'll really find this comes in so handy.

Handy Little Device
I bought the Bissell SpotBot after my dog had a runny accident on my carpet. The stain sat overnight, but the SpotBot got it right out with one Set-in Stain automatic cycle. The SpotBot is easy to figure out, and it's worth the extra money to not have to do the work yourself.
