Dew it isn't
Okay, so maybe I'm a bit bias. I love my Mountain Dew and my high fructose corn syrup, but I also drink Splenda in many things. For some reason, all of the Soda Stream items that include Splenda taste horrible....and by that I mean inexcusably wretched. Why is Splenda even used in this? It's not a diet drink and includes Sugar. I don't really understand the thought process and/or logic behind it.
I'm sorry, but reading the other reviews here about "Oh you just have to get used to it"...no, just no. If it doesn't taste good, why would i force myself to keep doing so until it does? This (to me) is no where close to even tasting like the cheap stuff at the store.
There are other Soda Stream flavors that don't taste like pond water, but unfortunately this isn't one of them. My husband and I are fond of the Orange and the Cranberry Raspberry flavors.

Plain nasty
I have the soda maker and this is the worst flavor ever.It was soo bad after my Husband and the kids tried it to the trash it went.

Not as sweet as Mountain Dew
While not exactly like Mountain Dew, I really liked the flavor. However if your someone that loves Mountain Dew, probably won't work for you. Step-dad hated it but he also drinks a ton of MD. It tastes more like a cheap knock off of MD or maybe even something like Mello Yellow. Overall I'd give it a 4 out of 5.

This replaces my Mountain Dew
I have to agree with tweetybird. The first day I started drinking the Fountain Mist I felt is wasn't quite as good as Mountain Dew. Now I just love it and think Mountain Dew is too syrupy and heavy.
