Melting pot provides a fast and easy way to melt chocolate and other desserts without the use of a microwave or double-boiler. It's great for candy making, mold, dip or drizzle. The removable non-stick melting pot holds 2 1/2 cups of melting chocolate, and the melting base stays cool to the touch. It also features an easy pour spout, and the safety light indicates when melter is on. There's also two convenient temperature settings as well as an ergonomic handle. Perfect for small to medium jobs I love this for dipping small batches of cake pops,pretzels,fruit & etc, It is perfect because I can place the chocolate in the pot and go prepare my other things while it is melting and not worry about it overcooking the chocolate or burning my hand on a hot steaming pot ! Now if I was going to do a bunch of something I would probably get a bigger one or do it the old fashion way since it only holds so many wafers at one time ! December 18, 2012
Not what I expected. I bought this today to make chocolate candy in my molds. It did melt the candy pretty quick. But it's not melted enough to put into a mold. It's clumpy and thick. When I see the spout to pour the candy out, I thought it would melt the candy the way I needed. But unfortunately it does not. Hope this helps. October 21, 2012
Chocolate Pro Melting Pot I have only used it a few times, but so far it's turning out to be a great product. You can melt an entire bag of chocolate chips at a time, although it takes a little bit to melt it all. The power cord is a decent length. It also cleans easily. Wilton Choc Pro is a Pro I bought this item to melt chocolate for my wedding favors. I love it. It melts the chocolate wafers in minutes and keeps the temperature perfect on the warm setting. I dipped 150 fortune cookies with ease. I highly recommend. January 13, 2012
