Use this 4-in-1 handy helper to spin, slice, serve and store veggies and cheeses. It not only sheds water from greens, but slices vegetables right into the bowl. The unique mandoline lid includes 3 interchangeable blades to slice or grate. The blades conveniently store in the lid when not in use. The spinner features an easy pump handle with quick stop button. A separate plastic lid is included for food storage. All parts fit into the 5-quart bowl for easy storage. Included are the bowl, spinner basket, spinner lid, mandoline lid with 3 blades and protective food holder storage lid. BPA free. Made of plastic with metal blades. Measures approx. 6 1/2" H x 9 1/2" D.

Dead on arrival The spinner looks good in theory - and on packaging; in reality - not so. When I unpacked it, the lid was all covered in a sticky, slippery goo, my guess - that's a gear lubricant for the spinner. Back it goes; this + less than raving reviews (which I should have read before buying) tells something. Get an OXO. March 27, 2013

Broken After One Month After a month of use (probably about five or six uses) the mechanism started to stick. After about three more uses it was completely unusable. It seems there isn't even a way to correctly wash it either. The water gets inside the lid and stays. I would say go with the OXO version. I am now. March 14, 2013

Not what we expected We got this item as a wedding gift. We had selected it mainly because it was multi-purpose, but in reality all we needed was a salad spinner. The mandolin is hard to use, and dangerous (my husband sliced his finger open). It worked great...for a few uses - but the lever broke shortly there after. The basket is not very sturdy either. It is nice that is has a lid to store lettuce in the refrigerator. I would just rate this as okay - not worth the money. Wish we would have selected a different salad spinner since we eat salad almost every night with dinner. February 27, 2013

Not good This salad spinner was not a good purchase. I decided on this spinner because of the mandolin slicer. The slicer is junk. Also, the plastic of the spinner holds odors that you can never get out. Terrible product. January 23, 2013
