This product is disappointing!!!
I purchased the Classico Satin Flatware as a gift for my daughter to add to her existing set that I purchased for her years back. To her disappointment and mine they are nowhere near the same quality as the original set. Not sure if she will keep them or I will have to return them.

Perfect Everday Flatware Set
Mikasa Classico Satin 45-Piece Flatware Set is very sturdy for everyday wear and tear. I will most likely use for special days as well. We bought this set as a replacement. I do hope it lasts just as long.

Not the same as the original Classico Satin 18/10!
We received this Mikasa Classico Satin flatware set as a wedding gift back in 2004. Now that we have several kids, we bought another set this year to have more pieces. I was disappointed when I opened the box because I immediately noticed the silverware feels lighter. Sure enough, on the back it says Mikasa Idonesia, instead of Korea; and it's 18/0 steel instead of the original higher quality 18/10. The most upsetting part is that the sets don't even match!! The spoons are much more oblong, the salad forks are wider...it really looks like a knock-off set trying to imitate the original. Nowhere on BBB's website or Mikasa's site (I checked) does it say that the new set does not exactly match the old, so I feel misled. And I'm ticked that I paid the same amount of money for what is now a lesser quality set of flatware. I guess my disappointment is more aimed at Mikasa for changing the quality of their product and changing the style so it doesn't match, but I feel BBB is partly responsible for not indicating somewhere that it's different than what they used to sell.
In summary, if you're buying this set to complete or add to an older set, you will be disappointed! I hope the other reviewer on here who got her first set in 2004 and wants to get more sees this review before she spends the money!

Not the original 18/10 classico satin!!!
Back in 2004 when I got married, we got the original Classico Satin flatware set, which is 18/10 quality stainless steel. Now that we have several children, we decided to buy another set to have more of our silverware. But when this arrived, we immediately noticed it says Mikasa Indonesia on the back (not Korea) and it's 18/0 steel and lighter (read: cheaper# than the original. Plus, the designs do not match. The spoons look different #more oblong), the salad forks are completely different, etc. I am so disappointed that the quality of this flatware has been changed, and yet they're still charging the same price for the set. If you're buying this to complete or add to an older set, you will be disappointed!!
