4 years old and more used then I had intended!
My sister reccomended this steamer to me and I am glad that she did. We orginally bought this for our house and I loved how you just add water and you can toss the pads in the wash. My husband remodels houses and he's been using this to clean up after a months of dust and mess at his flips. I think that added a lot more wear on this poor thing and I've noticed it's not working the same, but after my 3rd house personally it may be the floors. With my laminate it was great, I would say the best, but it was also brand new then! It did warp my 1/8'' Brazillion Cherry at my old house when my husband used it. Which did go back down, but never fully flat again. We currently have a 3/4'' very dark Cherry in our new house and I do noticed streaks after use, but it's nothing compared to the paw prints and shoe marks prior! I blame my husband for this but it has recently gotten a horrible musty smell, I think he must've left water in it for far too long. I believe that I got my moneys worth out of this and I plan on replacing this with a brand new one. I thought Euerka would've updated it by now, such as give it a longer cord. But I can make do!
I do notice that if you do not use the measuring cup provided to put the reccomended amount of water in it, you will have water pouring all over your floor! If I don't remember if it has water in it already and I add too much I end up using a towel to wipe the floor up and I actually get a much better clean, now that it's leaving a streak, that the towel wipe up after removes for a great shine!
Also you must vacuum/sweep, which ever you prefer first, if not once any dust left behind gets wet & it will push it along your floor.
Great for the price and in my opinion easy then a Shark to push since the water is stored on the bottom, not in the handle causing it be to top heavy.

eh
I bought this based on reviews...eh. It's ok. Cleans floors but does not get in against baseboard. It is big and does not manuever at all. The pads it comes with are waffle so it leaves a weird streak on the floor and I feel like its not hitting the whole surface. I wold try a smaller, swivel model if I had to do over.

Not so great
Simple to assemble and use, but it did not clean as well as I would have expected it to. Additionally, the cord was too short to clean the area that I needed without having to unplug twice and start again. I returned the mop to a Bed Bath and Beyond store (which was originally an online purchase, and was no problem at all). Planning to purchase a higher-end steam mop.

Not worth the bother
I bought this steamer thinking that it would perform better than the Shark. It was a great disappointment. It left an enormous amount of water on the floor which created a slip hazzard that I was trying to avoid. At least with the Shark, the floor dried fairly quickly without a huge mess to clean afterward. I may go back to the Shark because of this.
