Melts almond bark and Wiltons Candy Melts w/no fuss at all. Keeps them melted at the perfect temperature without scorching the edges (& you don’t even have to stir constantly). Had it on for 3 hours while I dipped cake pops & this thing never missed a beat. Metal outside does get warm, but not hot enough to burn if you accidentally touch it. Inner stonewear pot gets warm but is safe to touch if you need to. Removable stonewear pot makes for easy cleaning & the included lid is a nice little bonus. Make sure you (follow the directions) and warm it up using 1/2 a cup of water for 20 min (w/the lid on) before using it.

Great deal!
I have a large crock pot and really needed a small one for dips. I saw this at the store and read the reviews online and had to have it. It's clean looking and very sturdy. Not cheap looking or flimsy. Excellent for hot dips like cheese dip and spinach dip. Keeps the dip warm. Nice for traveling as well. A very nice investment!

Worth the 10 dollars.
This product is great! I got it as a compromise for our ruined toaster. It looked cute, so I asked my dad if we could get it. That night, I made nacho cheese. I then proceeded to clean the stone bowl, which was a snap. I'm only a 13 year-old boy, who loves to cook. I don't get past omelets, French soups and hash browns. So the Tru Slow Cooker is great for me, because it's obviously not for any really advanced cooking. Since there are no temperature settings, I don't spend time worrying about if I set it right. It's small, and like I said, cute, and gets very hot pretty quickly. Because of its convenient size, I can store it in places where a large crock-pot wouldn't fit. The bowl is dishwasher safe, so if I don't have time to wash it after making fondue for my family, I can stick it in the dishwasher. And it has a variety of available recipes that can be cooked in it, from soups and gravys to sauces and drinks.
Bottom line is, I am really happy that my parents bought me this. It's a great product, and costed only 10 dollars. I suggest you buy it if you want a quality appliance that lasts for a long time.
