EXCELLENT for THICK HAIR
This InStyler is a little pricey but worth it !!! I've heard that it will harm thin hair, but if you have thick hair and are tired of spending too much time trying to get your full head of hair under control, you've got to try this tool. It's not like your normal curling iron & it might take you some time to get the hang of it, but once you do - you wont go without. One helpful hint is to buy a full size hand mitten, the kind you use with your oven. It will help protect this tool from scratches & such and you wont have to wait for it to cool-off before storing. Also works great when packing in your suitcase.
But really - I spent my whole life battling my long thick hair and now it's easier than ever. I finally have the look I always wanted. I bought the 1 1/4" barrel approx 3 or 4 years ago, I use it almost everyday and my hair handles the heat just fine. It amazes me that the Instyler still works. My daughter's Instyler broke within the first 2 months - but knowing my daughter, it was probably her fault - lol. If you are waiting for the price to drop, don't. It's been holding steady at $100 for a long time. Instead, look for a percentage off sale from the store.
And No - I do not work for this company...
I'm just passionate to tell others when I find a good-thing.

The best idea ever
I bought this item on a whim about three months ago witha 20% discount after seeing it displayed on the promo monitor at my local BB&B. It is the best idea it. This remarkable little tool works magic with my hair. I never fail to get compliments whenever I use it to press or style my hair. Yes, it curls, too. The resulting benefit is remarkable, and it pays for itself the first time out. I never had a problem with it frying my hair, and I, too, have fine hair; but that might depend on how long the user keeps it on the hair. Use small portions and run it through about two or three times, depending on what you're trying to acoomplish. However, I did burn myself over the eye, because I neglected to read the instructions and add the plastic protector. Honestly, it's a dream maker, and it works for all types of hair. It has three heat levels, and you alone controls the safety standards by how you use it.

Don't buy
The product fried my hair and i have fine hair. So anybody with fine hair should not buy this product.
