Yonanas We purchased the Yonanas in January 2013 - best investment we ever made! Here is my daily recipe using Yonanas - 1 cup of frozen strawberries slices no sugar added - 1/2 cup of Chobani Non-fat Plain Yogurt - Stevia to taste. Coat the strawberries with the yogurt by mixing them in a bowl OR - coat the strawberries as you add them to the shut in the Yonanas machine - once all of the 2 products have gone through the machine - disassemble the Yonanas machine to get the rest of the ingredients that are left inside: which includes the products left on the round plastic insert, the white cutter and inside the black part of the Yonanas machine- add to the bowl - add Stevia to taste - stir slightly and enjoy! Count: 120 Calories, 11.5 Protein, 17.5 Carbs, 0 Fat, 3 Fibers. (Hint -can use frozen blueberries or other frozen fruits - but I like the frozen Strawberries - can also add frozen bananas). I clean my Yonanas machine immediately and let air dry. June 7, 2013
Love eating healthy Love this item!! I love bananas, but not so much cold, so I substitute avocado for 1/2 the banana. Since the taste of fruit typically overrides the taste of vegetables, I can't taste the avocado but it gives it a smoother texture and the end product tastes more like the frozen berries that I add and less like frozen banana. I'm not a huge ice cream eater, but I could eat this everyday, and there's no guilt because everything is healthful. Add nuts or mint chocolate chips to the top...YUM!!!! May 25, 2013
good for us This has been a very healthful treat, but is more like a sherbet than ice cream. Learned by trail and error, so will add my 2 cents worth. First i have a few tupperwares in freezer and continue to toss in ripe fruit in single layers for a few weeks. On make the treat day i leave my fruit out of freezer for 15-20 min. During that time i set up the machine and pour contents of my ice maker in sink and set a lg. sturdy bowl on the ice. i usually have a combination of 8-10 fruits, esp. mango. i take my time running the fruit through and each time my under the machine bowl is full i dump in into the iced large bowl. When finished with a large spoon i try to sort of chop and mix together the fruits and spoon in 1 cup disposal plastic containers and freeze immediatly! You can almost thaw this competely and feed to a baby. What a treat to grab one of those and eat it while my family eats dessert or a middle of the day snack. It i use them for dessert for others i pop the out on a plate and add a mint leaf and presto. Nice! My husband likes to eat his with ice cream. During the time period we are eating the 20 some cups of sherbet i am collecting more fruit in freezer. . Love it! May 14, 2013
LOVE IT!!! I've made "ice cream" every day, both with a banana & without. Comes out great either way, and I finally get some fruit into me every day. I'm thinking of adding a little protein powder and/or flaxseed oil for extra health benefits. Guess I'll try that today. :) May 13, 2013

Now with this fun, easy kitchen appliance called Yonanas, you can enjoy a creamy, delicious treat that looks, tastes, feels like soft-serve ice cream, but it's made only from frozen fruit.

So how do you make Yonanas? First start with those overripe bananas. Peel and freeze these. Keep them in a storage container.

Then add your favorite frozen fruit. We're just gonna feed frozen bananas and other frozen fruits through the chute, and out will come this delicious, creamy treat that looks, tastes, feels just like soft serve ice cream.

So let's make strawberry yonanas. I'm going to add frozen bananas and frozen strawberries. That's it.

Let's make some peanut butter and jelly Yonanas. I'm gonna add some frozen bananas, some frozen mixed berries, and just drizzle in some peanut butter. And then I'm gonna mix it up and blend it between a couple of toaster waffles.

Again, a fun little twist is just to add this to a toaster waffle. It's super fast to make, super healthy, and the kids can get involved if they want to. It's a fun way to enjoy breakfast or have a healthy snack in the afternoon.

If you want to be a little decadent, why not add some high-antioxidant dark chocolate to your Yonanas? So all I'm going to add are some frozen bananas. Again, those are those overripe, peeled bananas that I froze. And then I'm gonna add some dark chocolate that's infused with some mint to give you that yummy mint-chocolate-chip-like flavor.

When you get your Yonanas makes, you're going to get a recipe book to help inspire some ideas. Also know that you do not need to use frozen bananas when you make Yonanas. We are going to make our tropical sorbet, and usually when I make a sorbet I like for it to thaw for a few minutes first. This is just frozen pineapple and frozen mango.

The rest is just as easy as well, and that's the cleanup. All we need to do is separate the machine, the motor, real strong but a light, compact machine, and then the top. This is where all the cleanup is contained. It's this simple. We just separate the pieces, and we can rinse them in warm, soapy water or you can throw them in your dishwasher. It's dishwasher safe. So as simple as that.

Again, quick, easy, fun to use. That's Yonanas.
