Best Wine Opener Ever The stand contains the foil cutter and batteries are easy to load. I love being able to press a button to remove the cork from the bottle and then reverse remove from the opener. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! June 10, 2013
Brookstone Automatic Wine Opener I ordered this opener as a bridal shower gift and was present the first time the bride attempted to use it. It functioned long enough to remove the wine cork from the bottle and then promptly stop working. The motor just died. We were unable to eject the cork from the machine.Even after installing two new sets of batteries, it still did not work. The motor was completely dead. It was very embarrassing. I had to return it to the store and purchased a completely different model. June 6, 2013
Great product! We love this opener and bought six more to give as gifts! Everyone we've given it to loves it. Very cool product! March 21, 2013
Didn't work My mother-in-law has one of these and LOVES it! I grew quite fond of hers and asked for one for my birthday. I was so excited when I received it that I ran out to the store to buy brand new batteries. I got home, put the batteries in, and... nothing. No light, no sound, no screw turn, nothing. I popped the batteries out to check the fit and to be sure they were in properly. Sure enough, but hey, what do I know. I even exchanged the batteries out for another set of new ones. Again, nothing. I'm so upset because my mother-in-law just loves hers. I'm thinking there must have been a bad bunch made or something. Hopefully the manufacturer figures out the problem. I'll be returning mine to BB&B and picking up a different brand for fear of getting another lemon. :( March 15, 2013
